This creative nonfiction piece explores my family’s experience growing up with parents working overseas and the sibling bonds that held us together. Using literary journalism techniques, interviews with my siblings and parents, and personal memory, I wrote and structured the narrative to connect our perspectives and reflect on sacrifice, distance, and healing.
